Right next to the Quilt store there was this little Restaurant, El Tapatio Dos. We need a real change from the food on the highway, and were surprised with the lovely flavor of their Mexican sauces.
The owner said they don't deliver, but they make an exception for the Quilt store next door.
Sorry, did not take a photo of the food.. I had a Cheese Enchilada, my usual, and Ralph had a burrito.
Both were delicious. I asked the owner where the recipe for the sauces came from and it is from Guadalajara. I knew it was not from the U.S. Delicious. Not our usual Calif. sauce.
How perfect, right next door to the quilt store. And they are busy. Bet it is a jumping place to be with the music. On the road again.
