Metamorphsis 2

I had so much fun with the Karen's challenge, referencing Rayna's book, that I went a step further and finished this block and mounted it on a painted gallery canvas.. Am delighted with how it turned out.

Thank you both for inspiring me to push the envelope again.. Both pieces will be hanging in Timberline Gallery in Oakhurst, Opening March 6th..   If you get a chance, take a look on Karen's blog and you will see a the completed quilts and how varied they turned out..
