I wrote this blog last week, and decided to change some words and suddenly the whole blog was white. Nothing written, no photos, just a blank page. Am I suppose to write something different?
What did I hit on the key board? Is there something I missed?
Sunday was a totally spectacular day for California weather. High 70's with a cool breeze.
We were invited to participate in a barbeque, lots of laughing, people, and fantastic food.
We left the mountains and traveled the back road through Raymond to Chowchilla.
Old barns dot the road and cows munching in the pastures.
This is why California is known as the Golden State, miles of golden fields.
When I look out our air conditioned car window, I think of the people that settled this country in the covered wagons. What did they think as the walked each step into the unknown? No roads, no signs, no water. What amazing strength those people had.
Thank you for the beautiful blue skies and golden fields. We're still grey here in western Washington, so I love to see clear skies on the blogs.
