Border of Oregon, and Washington, Sandys Fabrics

From Oregon to Washington.  Being from Central Calif. seeing this amount of water rushing is amazing. We drove for miles along this water way the Gorge. Then crossing over to Kennewick  Washington.  We have a new GMC with all the electronics they are putting on cars. It is not a choice, it is just the way cars are now. It is learning to drive all over again..There is an on board GPS. And thankfully Ralph took the one we can just type the destination into, rather then speak to it.
That said, we arrive in Kennewick and ask "her" for the hotel directions.  Not knowing the city, she took us to the other end of the city, and it was city hall. She sounded very proud to have us there, but really.  We tried about 3 times to say the destination very slowly. Tired, we were not too happy and had to call the hotel for directions.  The next day we were leaving town, but I wanted to drop in at Sandy's fabric in Kennewick. We decided to call first and followed the stores directions.

Beth welcomed us, and said they have a special chair for the waiting hubby's. So I called Ralph into the store.
She was showing how everything works.. We don't have room to tuck it into the car. Ralph was in heaven.
I was free to chat with Beth regarding the store.  They have something for every quilter.
A very nice area for quilting classes . They are teaching this Hoffman Pattern, it comes with different colored back grounds. You can see the other great projects.
A very large collection of fabric, and even fabrics and classes on fitting and making clothes.
Beautifully set up and easy to find just what a quilter would want.

Wonderful collection of fabrics. And then I had to wake Ralph, onward to Idaho. Really enjoyed our tiime at Sandy's Fabrics. Thank you Beth. And thank you for the directions to Highway 395.
