Just want to quilt! Decluttering, Kindle & Quilt Books,

Ok, So De-cluttering, takes time, and emotions, but  everyone seems to be doing it. It is prominent on most sites, Pinterest, Blogs, Facebook.
These were my mothers or the families Ice Skates from their life in Holland. My mother was born 1898. No, I am not that old. They were "old" when I was adopted in the 40's. enough of that.  My adopted family was from Netherlands as most call it now, and I know a little about their lives. There were 8 Children 4 boys and 4 girls. Most immigrated to the U.S.A. after the brothers came and settled in the Rochester area of N.Y. They all learned English and made good livings, worked, and  raised families. One of the sisters stayed in Holland, and another went to Indonesia with her husband.

To make the story very short, there is lots of history connected thru the years and just what do you do with all that. Thankfully, one of the cousins wanted the skates, and I was delighted to forward them to her. She is the grandchild of one of the brothers sons. Ok, Is that complicated enough. But I am happy the skates found a home.
I am reading lots on De cluttering, I had already started with books , hey not my quilt books yet. But novels, and other types. The pretty ones with lovely photos of homes, probably will be last. My husbands books were the first to go, And we have taken them to the VA, the VA Rest Facility, friends, and library.  Well..... Several years ago, I bought him a Kindle, a necessity to people that read. Yes, I love the feel of the book, but really. Kindle is lighter, and I pick less expensive books, and even found that Quilt Books can be on Kindle. A friend told me that it works out great. So of course, I had to try it.
OK, that looked like it would be easy to follow, and I could see it on my I pad also, but then I saw
I have all the supplies to make Pin Cushions. And then I saw:
Ok, Enough. they work great, now to find the time to make the quilts, or pin cushion, or will show you next blog what I did make!  See you next time. Would love it if you would just make a little comment, or say hi!
